New New Guy from S. NJ
« on: February 26, 2007, 02:37:08 PM »
Hello to everyone.  Just really getting back into saltwater fishing.  I did some while in the Coast Guard (Hawaii, South Pacific and Alaska). I really enjoyed it.  Grew up in South Jerzee fishing and hunting.  Finally making time to get back into the sports I love.  Looking to do some surf fishing and charter boat this year with my 9 year old.  Trying to pass the love of the outdoors to him but also miss it myself.
Any suggestions would be welcomed.  Never Surf fished. Looking forward to trying it out.  I have equipment but not sure of the tackle to use.  Charter boat with my cousins hopefully on the Dorie Mae.
