Flounder - How far up the Shrewsbury River?

I live in Oceanport near Blackberry Bay and Gooseneck Point.  Wondering if anyone fishes the Shrewsbury River that far in for winter flounder.  I'd love to give it a try but I don't want to have to go all the way up towards the hook.  Thanks.
