4/24 Bassin in The Sun
« on: April 24, 2010, 07:38:08 PM »
Had an open boat trip today from NJSWF John, his son JP, Blair and Jeff. Great day to be on the water, bright sunny sky and calm conditions.

Had the last 3/4 of the outgoing and ran out to the Knoll and started clamming heavy. Was not long before the first fish was on a 27" throw back.

Had a steady pick of fish most 26-27 1/2", did manage a couple keepers out of the bunch. Several hit an misses ad the fish were biting lightly.

Tide died and so did the bite. Ran out to a spot that has been producing good on the troll, wacked a Chopper Blue and a nice 31" Bass.....then that wasall she wrote. Ran and tried to locate a bite to no avale.

Day started out good but slow to a stop quickley had action and fish in the box and the guys enjoyed a great day on the water. Thats what it is all about.

Not too bad a day CaptBob. It's been tuff catching since Wednesday.
