Hunter 2- Raritan bay, 5-19-2010
« on: May 20, 2010, 12:21:41 AM »
Pulled out of Keyport around 5:30pm with Cashin and Fireman John. Head south a bit and started letting out the brand new Maja spoons purchased today,, with some special weights, Instantly Johns rod screams and wham,, the whole $43 rig is Gone.. fcp smk :headscra:,  The braid came back with nothing on it.  Something cut it off. :'(
Trolled a few hours and had great readings all over but no takers,Not even a bluefish,,  Tried some stretch 25's and no luck,,
Switched over to clamming and we get a quick 36" Striper, then a big Skate, and a short Striper,, :P At least John has some fish to feed the firemen tommorrow.

That was it, Back at the dock by 11:30pm, and back tomorrow morning at 7am.
I hope things pick up tommorrow, t^
  good luck, Eddie
