5/29 - Bunker Report
« on: May 29, 2010, 09:10:55 PM »
Seeing as all we caught today were bunker, it didn't seem right to call it a striper report...

Was tough to make bait this morning but we did just outside the inlet. The bunker were just under the surface and were only finning every now and again.

No takers on that pod, so we moved around, and moved around, and moved around.

Read marks underneath the bait all day long but had no takers. Mustve been the south wind.  5hrug

Great effort. The bass have been hard to come by lately. Could also be from coming off of the full moon. Hopefully they will pick up again soon.

I've been reading about the slowness. I didn't have great expectations, but with the limited days we are able to fish, we went for it. Can't catch them from my couch!

We jigged as well as live-lined. No trolling today though since the reports from those guys trolling didnt seem too hot either.
