Advice for a night trip
« on: June 06, 2010, 07:59:19 PM »
Thinking about heading out Tuesday, however I won't be able to hit the water until at least 4 or 5pm, and figured a night trip would be nice if the weather holds.  I have all the equip and proper nav lights to do it, any suggestions on bait for stripers/fluke at night vs daytime and generally any warnings and suggestions in general.  This would be my first night trip.  Thanks guys!

I was figuring Fluke was a no go at night.  Never tried or heard of it anywhere before.  Stripers and Blues it is (hopefully).

while the fluking is slower in the night than the day, i have caught my share fluke in august at 10-11 pm drifting worms for bass.
