Cock Robin - MONDAY
« on: June 07, 2010, 10:14:08 PM »
Weatherman had us all worried that yesterdays blow was going to continue today....thank goodness our customer base had more sense to listen to their local weather than what we were telling them!!

Conditions were GREAT in the morning and Capt Jim found the blues a bit closer than we originally set out for. Taking both bait and jig on the first drift most everyone had a fish to show...MOST everyone....

Slight move had us back on the fish and more anglers began to choose bait over jigs, not sure if the blues really agreed with that decision but the method of catching belongs to the angler, despite recommendations.

Another move had us into bait fish and those who hadn't caught yet did!

Last move placed us in a slack, windless tide that had the boat "in irons" as sailors would say.

A great day on the water, blues in the 6-10lb range and a great group of regulars and first timers. Great shot of young Louis battling a BLUE attached, FaceBook for the rest of the days pictures.

We are sailing:

2 NIGHTS
