It is a great ramp, probably the best into the bay from the Jersey side.  But I ain't gonna realize my Grady dream if I'm dumping my trunk into the drink haha!

Maybe I'm just missing something, but does anyone else here notice that boat has no registration??

Maybe they should keep some sand near by to throw on it.

Not for nothing. But they take big money to launch here and for that, you should be reasonably safe. And confident the ramp is safe to use.
And things like this won't happen because of failing to do preventive maintenance.
Now if this was a bridge and the gates failed to close when in the up position and a car drove off, this is the same thing
The condition of all areas open to the public are subject to inspection and you would think those which fee's are charged for would be more closely maintained. Power washing the ramp at low tide is not an expensive undertaking and too much to ask for.

I really don't care if this guy had a valid registration or if he was transporting plutonium

But I do care if I'm charged 28.00 bucks to launch my boat, That my car and trailer are reasonably safe, And I won't get killed trying to put my boat in the water.

By now it may be more to launch, I haven't launched here for 3 or so years, reason being the ramp is too slippery and falling on the ramp. I don't know what it is but the other ramps I use are not this dangerous to walk on

not just any chock will work. Remember the guy last year had 2 chocks out. they came back up with the trailer. I have heavy wood chocks with a metal bottom. the metal bottom is similar to metal lathe.  these chocks arent going anywhere.
