Fishing for Flatties/Reel Fun Report 6/20
« on: June 21, 2010, 05:24:59 AM »
Had the Ron Tisdale party out for some fluke fishing today (Happy Fathers Day to all clp) with an uncanny number of shorts and a few keepers to show for our efforts. Boy, talk about some nice action only to rewarded with a couple of barely legal fish! Lots of moving around, drift here, drift there, drift everwhere. Looks like it's time to start fishing the rough bottom areas outside or my usual hangout at the Big A and hunt down the bigger fish.

And one other thing........talk about a HOT day on the water. Ouch! Not much of a wind for most of the morning..... and I like the heat, but today was a borderline brutal fishing day.

Tight Lines,
Capt. John
