surf fishing on wildwood, wildwood crest

Hi All, looking for some pointers for surf areas along the crest, we always seem to get skunked out there, tried sunset beach, higbee, up near hereford inlet, not much luck. Will be there week of 7/5/10 and want to score from the shore! Thanks!
