Fri July 16th Fattys & Flattys Report
« on: July 18, 2010, 08:49:34 AM »
Thurs Night Capt Lou called me and said Art call me when you get to the Dunkin Donuts in Aberdeen Fri morning.I called Lou at 6:15 and Lou says Art go over to KMB dock 3 and look for Kevin,Vinnie, and Kevin's 3 year old son Dillon.I will meet you guys later.

I did what Lou said and met up with these guys.

Kevin & Vinnie were rigging up and we waited for the gas dock to open up.

I loaded my gear on Kevin's 25 ft Parker & in the live well was 10 Doz Live Herring.

Gas dock opened up & we fueled up.

Kevin took us to an area that he has been fishing and I was excited because Kevin & Vinnie know there stuff when it comes to Fluke Fishing.

When we got to the spot we stopped to see how the drift would be.

Once Kevin saw the drift we were going to have we started fishing.Within seconds we had Fluke on.

3 Year old Dillon steps outside and says where's my Rod & Reel I want to fish.Let me tell you Dillon started fishing with us and he was hooking up and he did everything all by himself.I was amazed at Dillon I never saw a kid fish like he did.I know guys in there 30's and young Dillon would run circles around them.At 11 am Lou calls Kevin and says pick me up in 10 minutes at Leonardo Marina.

We picked up Lou and Lou says let's go check out some of my spots we did just that but we did not have the action we had in the other spot.So Kevin took us back to that area.

At 2 pm we dropped Lou back off at Leonardo marina.

At 3pm we called it a day and at that time we must have released way over 70 short Fluke we did have 3 keepers. When we got back to the dock Kevin,Vinnie, and Dillon went home and I washed down Kevins Fatty & Flatys. After the boat was cleaned I Washed up & made my weekly stop at the Keyport Fishery and drove home.

Kevin,Vinnie,Dillion a great time was had and I thank you !

Sounds like a good day. Were you in the bay or ocean?

BTW...I'm on the same dock as F&F. Nice boat.

I actually fished on Kevin's boat as well.  I fished with him once on the original F&F.  Great guy who knows his stuff.  My ex wife was friends with his wife.
The cure for everything is salt water: sweat, tears, and the sea.
