Did you guys have gimbal belts or just jam the rod butt into your gut. Ouch!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe hotrod edited out the part where he told me "You ain't gettin the belt for this one kid-o"

The belt we had helped only on rods that didn't have a gimbal. If it just had a regular butt cap, it sat in the belt real nice, but with the gimbal it slid around and chewed the belt up. Maybe I'll buy Hotrod a nice belt with a pin for an early christmas present.

Back to the real world. Who wants to go fishing?

Need to invest in a good belt too. We have a few inshore belts. They help but the rod easily pops right out.
