Island beach state park is the most common beach with buggy access.
Other ocean county beach include lavallette, ortly, seaside park. These are olny off season.
There are other beachs further south, like wildwood, etc.
Check out the NJ Beach Buggy Assoc. website for for a full list with details.

Sandy Hook is walk on only. The fee is to gain access to the park and to park your vehicle in the designated lots.

Most beaches in NJ are pay access.  :P

More southern beaches allow access for vehicles than northern beaches.

All great info guys...With Labor Day approaching there will more beach to drive on.  Each town has its own rules but if you follow the necessary equipment for IBSP you will be okay for all the towns.

Just be careful out on the beach as this year there has been a lot of erosion and not much beach is left.  If you use your head you should be alright.

One important thing is to air down to the proper pressure before going onto the sand.  This year especially.  The sand is very fluffy and you sink in more than usual.  That is why you should air down to your minimum pressure.

Fall is coming fast and now would be a good time to look into the permits and get ready for the anticipated Fall Run.  I know I am looking forward to it.

Happy Catching

Thanks, I thought that is what it meant in Sandy Hook.  I don't really fish up that way.
