10/9 Monster ledge on my new ride

Well yesterday I put together a crew trip to take a look around the monster leder for some Bluefins.. I gotta say, love the new ride.. its a beast.. With alot to learn on the new ride.. cruising of shore at 26kts with radar and autopilot is awesome..

we hit the grounds in about 45 mins and started looking for life.. plenty of sand eels are around but not much life.. Finally with stack ,tight 3-5ftrs we poked around comfortable we found some marks..Guys started jigging and had 3 on and dropped all 3.. Then I start drifting out the sardines and bamm,..Fish on.. Well we fought the fish for about 10 min and the guy gave it slack ..game over..So after a few hours the seas got ugly so we ran in to jig bass and blues..

The boat is a great ride in slop.. we ran back in at 24kts through stuff like it was flat.. got to 11 miles and seas laid down to 2fters.. dump the hammers and we we back in..

Imade to quick stops at the hotel in SPL and we landed a few falsies and two keepr bass on jiggs..

All in all great first time running the new boat..

BottomDweller.. I will do my best.. absolutely love this boat.. When he decided to sell I jump at it .. great ride .. tons of storage!!..

Was hoping for some better reports for the inshore tunas - hoping to get em again just not sure when.

Great going.  We are going out to the Compass Rose, starting early am tomorrow.  I'll let you all know if anything is there.  We will be waiting for a report later tonight.  Seas on fishweather project a great ride.
