The new taxidermy guy on here.
« on: March 08, 2007, 08:13:15 AM »
Hi everone, I was just told about this site and thought that I would post on here. I am a full time taxidermist for over 37 years in Wall NJ and if you have any questions or problems about taxidermy, feel free to ask. Photo of striped bass I mounted.
Thanks

Great stuff and welcome.  I have a taxidermy question for you.  I'm a catch and release guy and I was told that if I have the measurements for my fish I can get a fake fish mounted to match the size from a tacidermist, is that true.  I thought that it sounds a little hookie to me and besides, if I catch something worth mounting, I'm keeping it!
PS - That's what that part of the alphabet would look like if there where no Q or R.

Yes it happens all the time. Just give me the length and girth if you have it and how long you want it, three to four months it is done.
