Spearfish 11/1/10 Bass

I heard about a hot clam bite and had to get in on it.  Picked up a bushel and headed out to the grounds.  We had fish on minutes after anchoring and 3 keeps in the cooler in a half hour.  The bite slowed some but we picked 2 more in the next hour.  Then the bite got hot and we all had fish on. Mostly keeps with a couple of shorts mixed in. We kept our limit then released a few and headed in. Great day out after not not using the boat for over a month.  I may try this afternoon too.
