Met up with Eddie (Hunter2), Bob (Buck Tail) and Steve (Mass Baster) at 7:15 am and set sail with Captain Eddie on the Hunter2. Eddie took us to his spot and we had the lines in the water by 7:45. By 9:30 we had around 22 Stripers in the boat. By 10:30 we were up 46 in the boat. Then my new Hero Buck Tail pulls out a banana and starts to eat it.   Only one other fish was caught after that and it was caught by Bob and that brings the new Hunter 2 clicker total record to 47. We fished about another 2 hours with not a bite. A full boat limit was taken and the rest were sent to live another day. thumbs up It was a great day on the water fishing with some great guys. Thanks for a great day guys.

Great trip but bringing bannanas on a boat should be punished by a long swim in cold water.

Haha! Grin  Actually Rick was kind of tweaking the truth there just a bit for comic effect.  Truth is, the bite had long since died before I asked for everyone's opinion on how they thought the day went.  Naturally, with 46 fish in the box, they all said, "Great!"  "Fantastic!" etc.   It was then that I broke out the banana, which prompted a lot of laughs. Wink

It really was a great day on the water with Rick, Steve and Eddie.  Not the first time I've fished with any of them, but it was my first time on Eddie's boat.  Thanks Eddie for a terrific day buddy!  thumbs up

Great day with great guys. That was a record on my boat thus far. 47 Striper's in less than 4 hours. I think the tied slacking was more of a factor then the banana, Its nice to fish with guys that don't need there hooks baited. Grin
Good Luck, Eddie
