Anyone fishing today or tonight deserves the fish of a life time.  Its miserable out there!!!

Been picking fish here and there over the past couple of weeks.  Has been the best flounder season for me in a long time. Still not what it once was, but at least this season you can stand a good chance for a fresh flounder dinner. Got schooled in the fine art of flounder fishing by NoWorries last week!!! Nice meeting you John. I took ten steps to my right (where you were standing) after you left that day and banged out three in a row which went back swimming. Bait is showing up in solid numbers in my area. Hopefully it really opens up next week  grtn

Forgot to mention. I joined a buddy of mine fishing clams and worms Thursday night on a dock in northern Barneget Bay. That didnt last long since the blue claws are out of the mud and hungry.  Couldnt keep bait on the bottom for more that a minute or so.  I could really go for a dozen big jimmies and a case 'o beer right now chrz

Hi ! Chris and I have been throwin lures in the bay the last 2 days for an hour or two under very cloudy daytime conditions. Nothin for me but Chris released a "just short" bass on Friday on a bucktail/plastic combo. It should only get better from now on ! See ya out there !
