Fathers Day Sandy Hook Fluke 6/19
« on: June 19, 2011, 08:11:22 PM »
First of all...Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads out there!...hope you all had a great day!
as for me, any day on the water is a great day.....had a half day fluke trip today With Mike, Glen,Ben,Dave & Jesse James so we kept it local.....my advice:...if you want action...stay local...if you want meat for the table...get out of dodge! Steamed up to Capt. Bob to exchange our annual Fathers day greeting, then off to try all the favorite haunts we all know and love....lots of fish ending up with 5 in the box for the guys up to 3.5 lbs....nothin major today...but man was the weather Beautiful!
Home for lunch with my wife and 2 Boys for fathers day...cant beat it!

Happy Father's Day to you too Carl.

Lots of action makes for a good trip. You got some for the dinner table too.  slt

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.

Carl,

Good to see your priorities are in order. After 5 years of working on Father's Day, I decided to nix any trips and be with MY family for a change on this day.......glad I did and so was the family.

Good for you and Happy Father's Day too. Call me when you have a chance. My number on the web site. I tried calling you and got your voice mail.

Capt. John
