Fishguts 6/30 mixed bag wrecks
« on: June 30, 2011, 09:10:49 PM »
Wow we could of used a little less wind this morning. Today I had a 3 man crew of Steve, John and Wilson out for an all day wreck trip.Today  greeted us with slop from the North west and made for "challenging" conditions for much of the morning. Also a hard north current added to the fun. The guys made the most of there bites and box some nice fish. Today the ling and cod really made a good showing also. Todays totals were 50 keeper seabass, 33 ling and 4 keeper cod to 24". They also released 12 short cod for my boats best 1 day ling and cod catch on the inshore grounds. Its nice to see a nice mix of fish. I am not sure where are the ling are pushing in from but we will enjoy it while they are here.
