Yes you can fish either side.
Parking on the south side is for a fee.  Parking on the north side is free but has a 2 hour limit.

Primary target there right now is fluke.  Live killies are the top bait.  Gulp also works.
Shad and cocktail blues move thru at times and will take small metals.
It get crowded there this time of year.  So me patient and be careful not to tangle too much.

It is still one big mess down here.  My daughter and I were at the inlet yesterday.  I still can't believe that this has happened.  For the most part all we have left are our memories of what use to be.  I know we still have our home, damaged but we are making headway and we should be finished by this summer.  It is still sad to think of many of our friends and family that lost it all.

Hello all. trying to get a fix on this fishing spot but the google maps link provided doesn't take you to its location. is there an address or like an intersection that i could use to put in my gps?

Look up Alexes bait and tackle its right across the street from the parking lot.
