The greenheads are big and the fishing on the reefs are so so. It has to get better.
This too shall pass.

Got the boat out Saturday for a quick shake down cruise. Drove around for a bit everything ran great.  clp couldn't be out there without getting a line wet. So went after the blues. Looked around not much going on with them in the bay Saturday. So ran up into the Mullica  by the parkway bridge, for a little warmer water. There they where. Caught 15 in just over a hour. Biggest being 36" and right at 20lb. Water being a little colder chunk bite worked best. kept 7 for shark bait in a couple months. The rest went back in to fight another day.

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife sells all of my fishing tackle for what she thinks I paid for it!

I caught some pretty big blues drifting around Barnegat light last month.  I gotta get out to Little Egg Reef at some point.  It's on the to do list.
