"Ever Enough" short fluke trip 9/21
« on: September 21, 2011, 05:06:05 PM »
Hooked the boat up around 9:45 am this morning, got gas some eats and drinks and headed out. Launched around 11:10 am atl. highlands ramp.

It was a beautiful day calm seas and a quick ride out to the #5 buoy hook channel. Drop the lines down and 10 minutes later a short fluke. Then 2 more shorts then nothing. Flew closer in to the beach and was in 15-20 ft of water.Had the first of many sea robins in 30 seconds! after a few more robins i got a hit,it felt like dead weight, until that famous head shake! it ended up being the only keeper of the day.

We headed in around 3 pm after a couple more shorts and a bunch of robins..Seems the fluke are gonna start eatin again to bad the season ends sunday....

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
