11/6 p.m. Striper report
« on: November 07, 2011, 07:46:36 AM »
After fishing on theRaritan Bay Forum trip, hosted open boat leaving dock at 4 p.m. Had the end of the incoming tide and read them right away. Once again these fish had the lockjaw syndrome. Bounced around from spot to spot on great marks but they didnt chew again....lots of traffic out there until about 8 p.m. when the tide started flying...3.6ktsand thewind pickedup pretty good from the south west. Gonna send in my sonar to make sure its not stuck in demo mode or something.

My sonar has been showing a bottom line directly in the center of it for a few weeks now.

you guys have to take a ride south.. the Monger has been killing them the past past few days.. This morning they got their striper limit with 1 drift.

Hoping to head to Manasquan Inlet tomorrow. That south enough or too far?

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
