7/17 Fluke Report
« on: July 18, 2012, 07:08:55 AM »
Had George,Fran,Jayme,Brad and Andrew on board for open boat. Planned to run deep for some ling and Sea Bass but stop for fluke on.the way out to the grounds. Half way across the bay the port engine bogs down to 2900 rpms. Full throttle...2900 rpms. Checked all engine fluids and all was fine. Definately a fuel issue and very coincidental  that I filled the tank that morning. Seperators looked clean so i am going deeper into the fuel lines this morning...Left it up to the crew to stay local and fluke fish or try to do the original get plan another day. They chose to fish   so we stayed local and picked the fluke. Not great but steady action boxing  10 keepers and dropping a couple of nice fish.

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
