young gull (9/1) solo report
« on: September 01, 2007, 07:50:25 PM »
Fished solo today (Poncho,Mboy and Bowguide get the bail out award for the day ;D).
The wind was blowing pretty good today.
I fished the Reach and was able to pick through shorts, searobins and skates to come out with 5 keepers to 24".
Peanut Bunker got the nod fished on a fish finder rig with a short leader (14") 2/0 kale hook (gold) and 4-5 oz bank sinker did the trick today.
A very nice day to be on the water........Kept in contact with Joey G.(man this guy sure fishes lot's!)great to see him on the water.

Hey Young Gull.  Good day on the water.  Using 4-5 oz of lead is great.  I hate when you have to go over 6 oz.

I wasn't down today but heard it was blowing pretty good outside of Shark River.  I will be down tomorrow to wet the lines.   t^
