Time to catch some blue claws
« on: August 17, 2012, 12:04:48 PM »
Just getting back in the game and wanted to get some tips on where to crab and any other pointers.  It's been awhile but I just got my hands on a little boat and want to try to get some crabs on the dinner table. I can travel too if you know some spots in any of the states around us.  Thanks!

Thanks!  Glad I found this forum.  Doesn't matter where I go really.  I got a trailer and some time so I'm willing to go around where the crabs are biting.

check previous posts as this has been discussed several times. Give us a little more inf boat size where you are?
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

This might help, go to wheretocrab.com.

There's a link on the site to crabbing spots around Jersey and neighboring states.

Good Luck! t^

The bridge of Toms River, going into Seaside has been producing very nice crabs.  The last few weeks have been slow do to molting, but should spark up again very soon.  This was from mid May.

Fish out of Toms River NJ.
Call Nick for open boat, 973-417-5756, or on Channel 68.
