WreckFish Aug 25th Report
« on: August 25, 2012, 06:50:51 PM »
Well, I haven’t been out since Aug 2nd.  Too much life getting in the way of fishing.  My buddy Dave and his 13 year old son Ryan came down from Binghamton NY today to try a little fluking.  Because they are not hardened fisherman we decided to take it easy and drag bait instead of the normal lose rig after rig bucktailing-in-da-rough-stuff-a-thon.  Ryan caught two shorts, Dave had nil, Jake hook a lot of fish today but just couldn’t seal the deal and get one in the boat (too much partying last night I’m thinking).  I had 1 keeper and a couple more shorts.  Nice to get out again.  It was a little windy today, NE then east, and it started to kick up some this afternoon so we headed to the barn early, got cleaned up and then out for pizza slices.  All in all, a good day

Great effort Phil, it was a mess in the afternoon.  :P

It sucked out front Phil. An 18 foot runabout dumped 1/2mile N of the inlet and needed rescuing.
