Banquet Rod Pix
« on: April 01, 2013, 03:28:29 PM »
Here's the rod I twisted up for the upcoming banquet.. Started with a 7' MH-X Camo 84m blank (14-18#, 1-2oz.) Used a matching camo trigger seat, and various burnt corks for the grips.. Spiral wrapped with Amtak Vitus light ring locks (12,10,8,8,8,8,8,8+t).. Happened to find a nice deal on some prairie rattler skins, and figured it would look cool on the camo blank..Should make someone a nice Fluke jigger, and be able to drag up to about 3-4 oz + meat  Good Luck winning it!  TT^  chrz  chrz
