410 Late Raritan Bay Report
« on: April 13, 2013, 08:00:47 AM »
Late report for Wednesday 4/10
Went down to the bay @ 6:00 pm, was hoping to continue my luck from the night before, set up and 1st keeper of the year within 15 minutes @ 32”.  Thought what a great night this would be!
I had a couple of misses afterwards; and could see birds working way in the distance. I also saw dark clouds coming, around 7:10 pm it was like somebody turned a light switch… the bay turned from calm & no wind to strong gusty wind & rough seas, packed it up as I saw lightning in the distance and returned home safely, just a reminder to play safe out there
