Blues and a bass
« on: November 06, 2013, 07:21:32 PM »
Headed north from belmar found the birds a couple miles from the rocks and jigged some blues and a bass. Tons of bait on top fish hitting the top here and there but very picky. Tough seas for a couple of my sons friends.

Saw you out there. Didn't know what channel you monitor so didn't call. Did you get my PM from the night before? Seems to have been a very early bite or very late bite on the bass. Mostly blues during the day.

Good job on keeping the kids busy with the catching.  t^

@ Joe, I saw you go by I'm on ch 16,68. I probably will be out on Sunday. That sounds good next time I'll give you a shout. My son had his two friends with him and I didn't want there parents to think I was nuts staying out till dark on there first trip with me. Lol. I headed in just before it got good.  I saw the bass up top closer to the beach where you went by us. Is that where you got the bass or was it closer to our inlet.

Yes sir, closer to the beach. Seems like the blues were further out. I have plans to be out Sunday also. Hope to see you out there.  t^
