Tuna Charter
« on: October 24, 2007, 08:07:07 PM »
Just booked my trip with 4 of my buddies to go on the big jamaica out of Briella for some tuna.. They recommend to bring a spinning reel as well just in case the Mahi are there. What rigs should i bring for the the mahi?
Another question is when boarding the boat is there any good spots on the boat or is it all the same?
Thanks for the help

Stern quarters are the sweet spots.
For Mahi 36" fluorocarbon 30# leader with a swivel and 1/0 or 2/0 outopus hook, hide hook in the chunk of butter fish or what ever bait Mahi are very leader shy.
Good Luck!
