Modern equivilants of Penn 750SS and Daiwa 7000?
« on: July 09, 2014, 06:29:05 PM »
Hi All,

I used to fish with these many years ago, but alas - both have been lost to time and many changes of address.

What would be Penn's current equivalent to the 750SS?

What would be Daiwa's equivalent to the 7000?

The newest reel in the Penn Spinfisher lineup is the Spinfisher V.  As far as the Daiwa, if you're talking about the old Silver series, I don't think they have anything like that reel in their lineup anymore.

Hope that helps.   wa

Thanks!  I'll check out the Spinfisher 5.  As far as Daiwa goes, I know the GS series was getting popular around that time also.
