delaware bay creek - 7/12

went to a small creek that feeds into the delaware bay that no ones ever heard of to try crabbing and it was terrible, had 23 keepers after about 3.5 hours so we  tried fishing and managed 10 keeper perch, im wondering if the crabs werent real active because the full moon has them shedding?
