Deciding between Penn Fierce 3000 or 4000
« on: August 02, 2014, 11:22:25 PM »
Could use some help here guys. Want to get into surf fishing. Just bought a 9 ft star rod aerial surf. Need a reel. Looked at the Penn Fierce 3000 and the 4000 and cant really decide. They fit my budget which is around 60 for a reel which is perfect so it will be one of the two. Any suggestions on these and a good line to pair with either?

Definitely 4000.
If you can spend a few extra bucks, move up the Battle 4000.   t^
