Hallie Loren evening 8-20-14
« on: August 22, 2014, 08:08:51 AM »
Quick evening trip in the Raritan Bay with Jersey Joe, Scott G, Cashin, Carl and the 2 14 yr old boys.
We started in the reach by the 8 and 10 with wind against tide  conditions and caught shorts.   Made a move by the ammo pier to put the Se wind and outgoing tide in our favor.  Few more shorts and a dogfish were landed.  A couple more moves towards the hook channel we manage a keeper and bluefish on live peanut bunker along with shorts on squid/spearing.   Nice to see Warren and Tombo sneak up on us and say hello.  chrz After a very nice sunset we pulled the plug and cruised back to port and the young men watched Jaws down in the cabin.
I'm currently down south in NC with my family to visit my parents and do some fishing on my dads  Parker also hitting up the beach today for some relaxation and steamed snow crabs and Cajun shrimp.
Bluewater trips coming soon on the Hallie Loren.
