I think it was 23 and 2 mahi
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

I believe 23 is right AL. Here's a pic from above and I think they were still pulling from front cooler. Great time out with the crew from the board. Great food, and music of course!

Had a great time with a bunch of good friends.
The light rain for most of the night wasn't that bad with the calm sea. I think the worst we had was about 3 footers. I don't know what happened but after we pulled the hook and I hit the bunk for an hour the ocean turned a little nasty. Went top side to find 8-10 and u bet we had the occasional  14.
Thanks to Phil for designing and building me such a beautiful tuna rod. I was lucky enough to hook up and land a long fin with it. It did just what he said it would and was great. Thanks again Phil.

The gambler capt and crew were great, top notch operation and a great boat, I can't think of one thing I did not like about the boat and crew. I'll be back!

Thanks to all who made the trip.

Oh and for anyone who didn't know

Thanks Rick for putting this together!! chrz
Trish "Ms.Fish"   msfsh  Made enough food for everyone including the crew.  Trays of Pulled Pork, Fried chicken, Meatballs and sausage, pork roll egg and cheese sandwiches,  rolls, cakes, Brownies, cookies, Candy. Chips ,pretzels, etc.
We also had jars of Pepperoncini, sharp provolone, garlic stuffed olives.  Great coffee and Funk music ;D
Captain Bob Bogan and crew were the best team I have ever fished with before.  They were always close by to help us with anything we needed such as  loading our gear, setting up the rods, baiting the hooks. Fishing tips and advise and  keeping the vessel clean and accident free. Even the Captain worked the deck to assure we were comfortable and having a good experience.
I was fortunate to catch the first fish "Mahi" of the evening and get the party started after Capt.Bogan offered me a live eel to drift in to the slick.  Soon after the Tuna came in flurries throughout the night and daybreak. The 10" Ronz lures worked great and the green glow, Pearl and black colors were hot. Everyone came home with plenty of fillets to share with family and friends.
The vessel is a beast and the motors are quiet.  The Gambler handled the sporty ride home with ease and we were all comfortable. Plenty room on the deck for everyone too.  Very clean
Im coming back next time and looking forward to out NJSWF TOG trip this winter chrz
