Shark River 11-09-2014
« on: November 09, 2014, 04:44:33 PM »
Went out of Shark River about noon. Lots of folks trolling, jigging and all but didn't look like any action. Went up to Deal and back to Spring lake. Threw everything at them. Didn't troll as I find that boring, but if it was working I would have tried. Sounded from the radio that there were shorts getting pulled up by Sandy Hook, but not worth the gas for throwbacks. Still nice day out there though. New boat is performing well, nice to have twin screws although Shark River was almost blown out and I was bottoming out in the channel on the way back in.

Btw, my brother in law reminded me on the water that today is my anniversary. Thankfully I picked up some flowers on the way home. Lol. Wife is a good sport. Might take her out fishing tomorrow to celebrate 11 years.

Great effort. The striper fishing was horrible in our area for the past couple of days.  :P

Good save on the flower purchase.  TT^

Take the wife fishing for your anniversary, Ilike the way you think, but that would not go over well in my house.
I've spent most of my life fishing, the rest I've just wasted     <'((((><

Wow!  Close call on the forgotten anniversary!  Think you owe your brother-in-law a six pack (maybe a case)! ;D

Nice report. t^
