Bingo Live report 11/23/14
« on: November 23, 2014, 10:26:51 AM »
First drop on Sandy hook reef produced 2 keepers.  Beautiful day. Sunny and warm. I got a 14 1/2" and a smaller one.  Making our move now to 2nd spot. Plenty of boats around

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

All the Belmar boats are out today. Not a spot to be had in the parking lot. Hope the fishing picks up for you. Great weather day, enjoy it.  t^

Final report.  2 keepers total on boat.   We tried 6 spots.  Maybe 20 shorts mixed in with skates and dogfish.  We tried shallow, deep and midrange.  Most boats in area today had similar results.  Still a fun day on the water. chrz

Nice report Ed. Heard from two fisherman at Highlands they had the same results today. They added the water was very very clear, and plenty of boat traffic.

Thanks for the live reports Eddie.  Did you gather the info to answer all the questions about the Bingo for our blackfishing trip?

We are at spot #3  . Next to Big Mohawk.   Nothing yet.  Weather is great

Moving to spot 4.  All the boats are moving.  Spot 3 was dead :P

You must need glasses as the BMH posted this report for today. "yes, we had another very good day of fishing! We had a lot of limits on board today, with some nice size fish! The pool winner was around 9 lbs,and we had good action all day long."   cfzd hhppy  This sounds like what Al FISHSTORY writes in his Friday column.  He never has said that fishing sucks and to stay home.

It was not a banner day keeper wise, but it still beats working and now you will think that you will be due to catch keeper blackfish on 12/13.  NOT!!!!!!!   TT^  chrz

Cool Dan,
That's me in the grey hoodie just left of the ladder up to the helm and Jersey Joe in grey hoodie to the right. You must have been pushing  your motor to pass us.
The BMH might have had a good day but not while we were next to them around 1pm.
It's gonna be windy all week. Friday might be fishable.

thanks for the great and honest report//the reason I don't start blackfishing until all the stripers have left is due to my low frustration level[according to my fishing shrink]
