Rod building 202
« on: January 31, 2015, 08:46:16 PM »
Tonight under the tutelage of wreckfish (Phil). I was taught how to do the marbleizing of Ruth's new rod, I can't thank Phil enough for taking the time to drive here in Farmingdale from his place in North Jersey to help me with the building of the Rod I started for my wife.

Phil is a great guy in the spirit of helping others with what knowledge he has to share with a fellow fisherman.

Thanks Phil. You a great guy. slt  t^

Phil; If you are out there, the rod looks great!! this morning. Your a great teacher.

I put the fish decal on as you instructed and wrapped it so Ill let it set for the rest of the day and put a second coat on tonight. Ill try taking pictures outside in a few days, hope they can show the results of the marbleizing.
