Reel Time Sportfishing 11/8
« on: November 08, 2007, 06:13:36 PM »
Hi Guys ;D

Today we had a full boat! Captains Mike, Joe, and John along with Joes friend Bob Gulden, and Nick, HotRod and myself. We loaded up and headed out around 7am and the plan was to head to a good Sea Bass spot.
Well, there was birds all over in numbers we've not seen in years and it was to hard to resist!! We had Bluefish coming in like mad and Bob scored the only Striper! What a relief to get the first Fall Striper on the boat...Great job Bob TT^

With the Striper on board it was all we could think of so we made a few moves but nobody home.

Ended up a little to late to get back to the original plan so we stopped at a wreck on Little Egg Reef but nobody around but the dogs and a few nice Porgie.

I must say it was nice fishing in cold temps again. And it  was great to have Captain Joe and Bob down our area.  TT^

We must do it again, Thanks guys w00t

Great Job glad to see the fish are biting again. TT^

Excellent trip Capt Mike and Hareball.  Thanks for the invite.  It was a great time.  Nice fishing with you guys again.   t^

No, we didn't get to do the original plan of seabassing, but catching bluefish never hurts.   t^  They ALWAYS give a huge tug on the line.  Too bad there weren't more stripers mixed in but, oh well.   t^ t^

Thanks for the day out guys. Great times. It was my pleasure to have you guys to fish with.
Bluefish are a lot of fun, wish we did see more bass though. Time did not allow us to stick to original plan for seabass, and blackfish, after playing with those blues. Well there is always next time. Thanks again.

And Welcome Aboard Hunter 2, as you can tell the guys in this thread are all on the site for a while.  We are looking forward to your input as well.  Where are you from and what areas do you like to fish from.  I myself like to fish from the suds most of the time..
