6/30 Raritan Bay
« on: June 30, 2015, 06:02:04 PM »
Left the marina at 6 this morning .Bay was flat ,you could see the bunker and schools of blues chasing them .Ben wanted blues ,so we set up rods with steel leaders and top water plugs .They were tearing up the plugs and the leaders and we were having a ball .All big blues .Filled the cooler and I reminded Ben that we needed some room for the flatties .But that never happened .We caught fish ,just no keepers .High light of the trip was sighting several Dolphin swimming in the bay .Conditions deteriorated bad in the late morning .Still a great day on the water .

where abouts were the dolphins? closer to Atlantic?
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
