Fluke and Croakers 8/22/15
« on: August 23, 2015, 08:49:56 AM »
One keeper fluke 28" 6lbs yesterday morning right off Asbury Park beach in 25-30 ft water and  half mile North of Asbury Park beach I located a school of Croakers in front of the tall Coble stone walls on land with cranes in the area. One croaker after another non-stop.....

Sorry im getting back a week late but it was making a low and slow drum sound when I was pulling the hooks off there lips....I don't recall weakfish doing that in the past, the few I have accidentally found in my past....I never target weakfish, mostly fluke and stripers so im not that familiar with them...top picture definitely confirms its a weakie
