Went out on the morning of Sept 1 with my fishing partner Ken. Launched in the Glimmer Glass area and worked the area from the inlet west for the next 6+ hours. Steady action all day mostly with shorts. The total fish count was over 100 between the two of us. We easily put 60 fish on the boat before we got one good enough for the box. Ended the day with 5 keepers between 18 - 19.5in. Most of the fish took bucktail / Gulp teaser combo. The bigger fish fell for the fresh peanuts. Great day of fishing
Few days later Becky joined me and we worked the same area. Wind was cranking and that had the water clarity screwed up and the drift was too fast. But we managed a dozen or so fish to 17in in about 3hrs. Then we played with the big snapper blues that were chasing small bait.
