Storm preparation

Add some extra dock lines to prep for this storm.   t^

You might want to remove valuables  from the boat in case the worst happens.

Check your home generator t^

Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife sells all of my fishing tackle for what she thinks I paid for it!

I'm not a boat guy, so I don't know the technical side of this, but make sure your bilge pumps are good this week. 8+ inches of rain possible before any involvement from Joaquin.

Generator check
Stuff up of garage floor check
Wind projectiles secured in yard check
Plenty of gas 8n the vehicles and cans
Fridegerator filled with hydrating liquids
Think I'm ready
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Clean out storm drains around your home or marina. This could make the difference between flooding or draining properly. The drains on my street were full of leaves and blocked from last night's rains!

If you head down there Rod, tie us off together again.

I'll call down there and tell them to pull it if it gets to bad.
