sundays report M.B.H
« on: November 18, 2007, 08:54:29 PM »
Today was no walk in the park the10 to 20 KT. forecast turned into 25 KT. plus, seas were 6 to 8 ft plenty of white water. We tried to fish in shallow water just a few keepers the water was very dirty inshore, so I went off a couple of miles and we found the water was still dirty and there was a screaming current ,12 0z” of lead to hold bottom. We did manage to catch a couple of fish, high hook today was six keepers a couple of guys had 4 and 5 tog .The bigger fish were not biting today plenty of shorts. With the sea conditions as bad as they were I was surprised we caught as much as we did. I did get to meet a couple of guys from the NJ fishing site* Life’s a Beach and friends*they definitely were the high light of our day they had us laughing from the minute they pulled into the parking lot until the time they left, it would have been nice to have a couple of cocktails with them but happy hour was called off due to rain, may be next time. Just a reminder we are sailing Black Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Thanks again Capt Frank and Capt Brant

Nice report.  Good catching.  Especially for such a poor weather day.   t^
