Today stripers

First post in long time. Headed north with buddy out of Barnegat inlet at 8am today. Trolled up one blue and 4 short striper to the pAvillion area. Umbrella rigs with eels and stretch both worked. Double catches at times 90% strikers. While trolling birds blew up just off beach in 9 feet of water. Hooked up around the boat all stripes on jigs. Hope beach guys got their shot too. Lasted 20 then dead rest of day. Picked away on troll back to inlets 3 nice ones in the box love plenty of healthy shorts back in water for another year. Today the time on water recharged my soul.
