5/14 fluke and blues
«

Had a good time for tide and a nice day finally so I decided to go fluking yesterday for the first time which I've been dying to do. Fished for a couple hours and was pleasantly surprised to catch 4 fluke, 3 were just under 18 and the keeper was between 18.5-19 inches. They weren't short striking which is what I expected, they hit hard and aggressive. All were quickly released. Once slack came I went to another spot with bunker I snagged and had all the gator blues you could want. A few of them hit my bunker before it reached bottom.

Howdy!
If you don't mind me asking, where did you catch these beautiful fluke?
I'd like to give it a try this Saturday with open fluke season.
Thanks!

Thanks!
One last question, what kind of hook setup did you use?

Bucktail with a dropper loop about 12-14 inches above it with a 4/0 baitholder. Look up some of John Skinners videos on youtube it will help you a lot.
