Overall a settled weekend for weather, but water conditions could be cautious with higher seas. Saturday and Sunday will be dry with some patchy fog possible Saturday Night and then Sunday Morning. Highs will be in the 70’s and 80’s with overnight lows in the 50’s and 60’s. Humidity will be Low to Moderate with some times where humidity is high. Water conditions will be good for rivers and bays with winds to 20 knots on Saturday. Delaware Bay will be borderline to start Saturday and then good. Ocean Waters will be borderline to cautious both days with winds to 20 knots and seas to 5 feet on Saturday and 4 feet on Sunday. Midshore to offshore waters will be cautious all weekend. Surf and beach conditions will be mainly ok, but there may be times surf will be higher around 4 feet with a Moderate Risk of Rip Currents, making cautious conditions. Water temperatures are steady in the 60’s with some 70’s and surf temperatures in the low to mid 60’s. UV Index will be Very High at 8-10/15.

A cold front will over the northern Delmarva and southern New Jersey early this morning will gradually push south of the area today. High pressure will build into the region for this weekend. As the high moves offshore Monday, a slow moving cold front will approach from the northwest Tuesday, and move through the region Wednesday.

Next week looks mostly dry with some rain/thunderstorm chances on Tuesday. Highs will be in the 70’s and 80’s with overnight lows in the 50’s and 60’s with moderate humidity. Water, surf and beach conditions look mostly good. Tuesday and Wednesday could have borderline to cautious conditions, but otherwise winds and seas are looking in check. Surf conditions could be borderline to cautious and Moderate Rip Current Risks may continue, so be aware of this if you are at the beach.

There is an area of invest in the Gulf of Mexico, close to Mexico, that is being watched. It is not a threat to any part of the US.
