Being busy with the business and shifting gears to more boat fishing, we haven't spent much time on the beach at all this year.
This past week I starting hitting the sand again for fluke.
First outting didn't yield anything, but it was good to be on the beach.
Second trip out was slow, but the one fish I did manage to get on the sand was over 18in.
Saturday we went out looking for sharks. The moon, tide and water temps were all right, but it didnt work out for us. Oddly, we didnt even have a skate or dog fish. Just a couple small blues, which quickly became shark bait.
